PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data with a high data transfer rate by generating at least two random access bursts so that at least one code is different in each preamble part, and simultaneously transmitting them. SOLUTION: A random access burst generator 2 assigns a signature code supplied from a signature code generator 3 to the preamble part of random access bursts. In addition, the generator 2 assigns a spread code supplied from a spread code generator 4 to each preamble part of random access bursts. The generator 2 simultaneously generates at least two random access bursts. The two random access bursts generated by the generator 2 are supplied to a transmission circuit 5 provided within a transmitter/receiver 1. Then, this circuit 5 simultaneously transmits at least two random access bursts via an antenna 6.
