PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baby carrier made usable for holding baby in the arms both vertically and horizontally and safely and stably holdable the body of the baby. SOLUTION: The baby carrier is provided with a carrier main body 10 for holding the body of a baby/infant, shoulder belts 30 whose length can be adjusted for using by hooking to both of the shoulders for vertical holding or for using by batch hooking the two belts to one shoulder for horizontal holding, and a waist belt 40 which is attached to the main body and can be wound and fixed around the waist of a user. Then, vertical holding and horizontal holding is switched by adjustment of the length of the belts 30 and a manner to hook them to shoulders.
