<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the liquefaction treatment of waste plastics which can efficiently conduct the treatment of waste plastics capable of performing an inexpensive, simple and safe operation. SOLUTION: This method for the liquefaction treatment of waste plastics comprises a first step of adding a heavy oil to waste plastics to be treated and heating the resulting mixture to remove water and simultaneously to render the introduced waste plastics a Newtonian fluid, a second step of feeding the Newtonian fluid formed in the first step to a thermal decomposition furnace 12 by a pump 21 and heating it at high temperatures to effect thermal decomposition in a short period of time, a third step of feeding the gas thermally decomposed in the second step to a separating tower 13 and liquefying it to prepare an oil containing at least a gas oil and a heavy oil, and using part of the heavy oil produced in the third step as the heavy oil to be used in the first step.</p> |
