PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally open a side face blowing out hole without leaking to a blowing hole not required to blow, in changing over a blowing mode by a rotary door. SOLUTION: This air-conditioning apparatus has a first film openings 19a, 19b for normally opening a side face blowing out port, at the first film member of a first rotary door 8. The first rotary door 8 rotatably receives therein a second rotary door 9 provided with a second film member for opening and closing the first film openings 19a, 19b. At a face mode and a bi-level mode, a defroster passage 12 is communicated with the first film opening 19b, while it is shut by the second film member, thereby preventing the air from leaking to a defroster blowing out hole. At a defroster mode, the foot passage 11 is communicated with the first film opening 19b, and is shut by the second film member, thereby preventing the air from leaking to a foot blowing out hole.
