PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance printing accuracy, in a printing machine using a press sheet, by preventing such a phenomenon that the surface of the press sheet adheres to the surface of a work. SOLUTION: A printing pattern is formed on the surface of a press sheet 20. The press sheet 20 is provided to a sheet frame under tension and held in such a state that the surface thereof is turned downward to be opposed to a work 10. A guide roller 53 is arranged behind the advance direction of a press roller 50 to come into contact with the rear surface of the press sheet 20 in such a state that a slight gap is provided between the surface of the press sheet 20 and the surface of the work 10. A suction head 57 is provided between the press roller 50 and the guide roller 53 and, immediately after the press roller 50 passes on the rear surface of the press sheet 20, the press sheet 20 is sucked upwardly by a suction nozzle 55 to be separated from the surface of the work 10.
