PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building structural element wherein warpage can be prevented from being generated and having heat retaining properties and air- permeability. SOLUTION: A building structural element is prepd. by forming longitudinal channels 3 and 4 along the longer direction on one face of each timber and bonding the timbers with an adhesive so as to make longitudinal channels 3 and 4 inside and forming air distribution holes on the bonded face. In addition, the building structural element consists of a sheet material A with a laminated structure wherein a rectangular substrate sheet 1 and surface layer sheets 2 are bonded together with an adhesive and the substrate sheet 1 consists of a sheet material prepd. by slicing a timber and a plurality of longitudinal channels 3 with proper crosssectional shapes are provided along the longer direction on one face of the substrate sheet 1 and on the other hand, the surface layer sheet 2 consists of sheet materials prepd. by slicing a timber and a plurality of longitudinal channels 4 with proper crosssectional shapes are provided along the longer direction on one face of the surface layer sheet 2 and the substrate sheet 1 and the surface layer sheets are bonded in such a way that the mutual longitudinal channels 3 and 4 are positioned inside.
