PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elevate the magnetic attraction force of screw driving robots and, speed up their arm movement. SOLUTION: A magnetic attraction type screwdriver 1 has on its iron driver bit 3 a step 7 defining a large-diameter portion 5 starting at a place of a preset distance from a tip 15. The driver bit 3 is mounted on the tip 15 with, in inner- to-outer order, a first ringlike magnet 9 generally of the same outside diameter of the large-diameter portion 5, a cylindrical iron spacer 11 substantially of the same outside diameter as the first ringlike magnet 9, and a second ringlike magnet 13 identical to the first ringlike magnet 9. The tip 15 of the driver bit 3 is exposed by a preset distance from the tip face of the second ringlike magnet 13. The second ringlike magnet 13 attracts a screw 17 meshing the tip 15 of the driver bit 3.
