POLYSILOXANE MODIFIED BY LINEAR POLYESTER CONTAINING CARBONATE GROUP OR (METH)ACRYLOYL GROUP AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a characteristic of adhesion protection and to improve a slipping property and scratch resistance by forming a polysiloxane modified with a linear polyester containing a carbonate group having a specific structure. SOLUTION: A polysiloxane is modified with a linear polyester containing a carbonate group represented as formula I. The modified polysiloxane is formed by reacting a functional siloxane represented by formula II or the like with anα,ω-hydroxy functional linear polyester represented by formula III or the like as a linking element of a carbonate ester represented by formula IV or the like. The modified polysiloxane shows a sufficient effect with addition of 0.05-5 mass % to a coating material. In the formulas, R1 is CH3 or R4-O-CO- R5;R2 is CH3 or the like; R3 is 1-24C alkyl; R4 is (CH2)n or the like; (n) and (m) are 2-20; R5 is -CO-O- or the like which is a polyester having 200-5,000 of an average molecular weight; R6 is CH3 or the like; (x) is 3-300; (y) is 0-50; R' and R" are a 1-24C organic group; and A is a divalent organic group.
