<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a dehumidifier/cooler which reduces the enthalpy of the atmospheric air by cooling the atmospheric air after changing the latent heat of the enthalpy to sensible heat by dehumidification. SOLUTION: A dehumidifier/cooler is provided with three dehumidifying means (first to third dehumidifying means 5-7) which dehumidify the atmospheric air by using a dehumidifying agent, a cooling means 4 which cools the atmospheric air by vaporizing sprayed water without contact, and a compressing means 3 which compresses the atmospheric air. The dehumidifier/cooler is also provided with a pressure reducing valve 8 which returns the compressed atmospheric air to a normal pressure and a humidifying means 9 which humidifies the atmospheric air. The dehumidifier/cooler reduces the enthalpy of the atmospheric air by alternately performing the dehumidification by means of the dehumidifying means 5-7 and the cooling by means of the cooling means 4 on the atmospheric air compressed by means of the compressing means 3 and, when the atmospheric air returned to the normal pressure is discharged from the pressure reducing valve 8 to a cold air supplying destination, the temperature of the cold air is further lowered by changing the sensible heat to latent heat by performing humidification by the humidifying means 9.</p> |
