PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a signal from a device which repeatedly performs a rotating motion or reciprocating motion or the like in a noncontact state. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a signal outputting means 2, mounted on a moving body (rotary shaft) 1 which moves with the moving body and a signal inputting means 3 held at the fixed position for the signal outputting means 2, which receives a signal from the signal outputting means 2 in a noncontact state. The signal outputting means 2 is provided with a detecting means which detects physical quantity such as a temperature, pressure, distortion, voltage, and currents related with the moving body, and outputs it as an analog signal, and a transmitting means which outputs a pulse signal. The signal inputting means 3 is provided with a receiving means which holds a space with the signal outputting means 2, when the signal outputting means 2 approaches the receiving means the most, and which receives a signal from the transmitting means, and outputs a pulse signal and a discriminating means which outputs '1', when the prescribed number of pulses are counted in a prescribed time from the receiving means, and otherwise outputs '0'.
