摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas sampling device capable of measuring the pressure in the cylinder of an reciprocating engine and capable of sampling the combustion gas in the cylinder during a controlled period of one cycle. SOLUTION: A combustion gas sampling valve is attached to the seat for a pressure gauge within a cylinder. The sampling valve has a valve stem 2 having a valve and a spring 3 at two upper and lower places and, when the pressure in the cylinder exceeds pressing pressure determined by the force of the spring 3, the valve stem 2 is pushed up not only to open the cylinder on the lower inlet side of a lower valve but also to close the same on the outlet side of an upper valve to load a sampling valve housing with the internal pressure of the cylinder. When the pressure in the cylinder lowers in an expansion process to become impossible to withstand the force of the spring, the valve stem is pushed down not only to close the inlet side but also to open the outlet side to discharge the combustion gas in the sampling valve.
