PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet with a sound insulation function which can prevent sound or vibration caused by water flowing in the faucet from leaking to the outside of the faucet. SOLUTION: In a faucet D provided with a faucet body 4 having a valve structure 20 in the inside, a cover 1 coating the faucet body 4, a flow rate adjusting lever 9 or a handle, and a transmitting mechanism transmitting the turning operation of the flow rate adjusting lever 9 or the handle to the valve structure 20, in order to prevent sound or vibration of the water flowing through the faucet D from leaking to the outside of the faucet, a sound absorbing member K is stuck to the inside face or the outside face of the cover 1.
