PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high-quality and small-grain diameter carbon black by operation stable even in a high-temperature atmosphere. SOLUTION: The characteristic of this apparatus for producing carbon black is to comprise a combustion zone, a reactional zone and a reactional terminating zone and to provide the inner wall surface of the reactional zone with protruding parts which are equipped with openings for inserting raw material spraying burners.
