PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus for a heat treatment furnace in which no flaw is developed on a product and the periodical inner cleaning is unnecessary even when a cooling medium used in an air-water cooling device which is a primary cooling device is used in an air cooling device which is a second cooling device. SOLUTION: This cooling apparatus for cooling a steel strip 1 after galvanizing or a heated steel strip after galvanizing is composed of an air-water cooling device 5 and an air cooling device 8. The cooling apparatus for heat treatment furnace is provided with a connecting duct 10 for connecting the air-water cooling device and the air cooling device and air suction blowers 6, 9 so as to utilize the cooling medium after used in the air-water cooling device as the cooling medium of the air cooling device. Further, the air-water cooling device, air cooling device and connecting duct are constituted of a steel plate applied with a corrosion preventive coat or a corrosion preventive steel plate. |
