PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing head, a recording and reproducing disk, and a recording and reproducing disk apparatus to realize a higher recording density and a reduced cost, facilitate a tracking control, and allow a seek operation to be performed at a higher speed. SOLUTION: Collimated beams 3b incident on an incident surface 6a of a transparent light-condensing medium 6 are reflected from a reflection film 7 formed on the surface of a reflecting surface 6b to be condensed on a condensed surface 6c so that a light spot 9a is formed in the vicinity of an end portion on the surface 6c. Light condensed at the light spot 9a leaks out as a near-field light 9b to propagate to a magneto-optical recording film 8a of a recording and reproducing disk 8, and thus an OAM(optically assisted magnetic) recording is performed in cooperation with a magnetic field produced by a coil 10. Reproduction of information is performed by detecting a leaked magnetic field from the recording film 8a by a magnetic sensor 11. |
