PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently data process media of different types in a short time, miniaturize a device and reduce cost by switching a medium issuing path connected to a medium storage, where the issuing of an IC card is waited for or a temporary holding part which temporarily holds a magnetic card to a connection position with a medium transfer-out path. SOLUTION: A card switch transfer part 14 is provided with an elevating/ lowering unit 20, which is connected to a post-stage of a card transfer path 13 and which is vertically integrated with an issuing path 18 of an IC card c1 and a temporary holding part 19 of a magnetic card c2 in parallel and a collection box 21 of the magnetic card c2. In the elevating/lowering unit 20, the issuing path 18 of the IC card c1 is arranged on an upper side parallel to the card transportation path 13, the temporary holding part 19 of the magnetic card c2 is arranged below it and an elevating/lowering mechanism which elevates/lowers the path 18 or the part 19 so as to cope with the connection height position of the card transfer path 13 is installed. Thus, the whole elevating/lowering unit 20 is moved vertically, and the issuing path 18 or the temporary holding part 19 is positioned in the connection height position with the card transfer path 13. |
