PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a batch type annealing furnace in which the temperature buildup time (the time constant of starting) can be shortened and also has a high heat recovery ratio. SOLUTION: This batch type annealing furnace is composed of a furnace body 10 and a high speed changing-over type, heat storage system combustion burner set 20. The high speed changing-over type, heat storage combustion burner set is constituted with a plurality of combustion devices 23a, 23b composed of combustion burners 21a, 21b and ceramic honeycomb-made heat storage bodies 22a, 22b, a four-way valve 24, a communicating pipe 27 for communicating a combustion air supplying chamber 24a in the four-way valve and the combustion device, a combustion air supplying pipe 25, and a communicating pipe 28 for communicating a gas exhaust chamber 24b in the four-way valve and the combustion device and a gas exhaust pipe 26. |
