PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decompose malodorous components even in the case the malodorous components are stuck to an electrostatic dust collecting cell and a deodorizing filter and to control the malodor generated from the electrostatic dust collecting cell and the deodorizing filter by forcibly feeding and impressing the splash of a deodorizing formulation to the electrostatic dust collecting cell and the deodorizing filter from a fan. SOLUTION: Air is forcibly fed into the liq. deodorizing formulation 14 through a pipe 16 by an air pump 17 to generate the fine splash of the deodorizing formulation in a closed vessel 15. A required valve is opened at the point of time when the pressure in the closed vessel 15 rises to spray the splash to the electrostatic dust collecting sell 3 and the deodorizing filter 13. Moreover, the splash is put in the stream generated by the fan 11 and the splash is uniformly stuck on the electrostatic dust collecting cell 3 and the deodorizing filter 13. At this time, the power supply by a high-voltage power source 12 is stopped so that spark is not generated in the deodorizing filter 13. In this way, the malodorous components stuck to the electrostatic dust collection sell 3 and the deodorizing filter 13 are decomposed by the splash of the deodorizing formulation. |
