PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system providing navigation information which is usable for a pedestrian by using infrared signal under special conditions such as in- house. SOLUTION: A transmission side controller 15 transmits position information by IrDA signal to a plurality of transmission module parts 11 arranged in a station yard. When a pedestrian having a PDA moves in the station yard, PDA receives the position information transmitted from the transmission module parts 11. Then, a reception side controller informs the received position information and the map information of the station house stored in the memory with LCD and speaker/earphone. |
