PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound containing a specific perhalogenated group, useful for producing a perhalogenated polyorganosiloxane(POS) suitable as a stain repulsive agent. SOLUTION: This (per)halogenated α-olefin compound is shown by formula I [Rq and R9 are each H or a 1-6C alkyl; R10 and R11 are each OH, a 1-6C alkoxy, a Z3-Rf (Z3 is a group of the formula O-CH2 or the like; Rf is a perhalogen) and at least one of R10 and R11 is Z3-Rf; i is 0-20], formula II or formula III such as a perfluoroalkyl compound IV. The compound of formula IV is obtained by reacting diethyl allylmalonate with C2F17, Ti(OEt)4 and dried toluene in a nitrogen atmosphere at 95 deg.C, removing ethanol in vacuum and further reacting the resultant substance with Ti(OEt)4. The compound of formula IV is reacted with a Si-H unit-containing silicone oil and allylsuccinic acid anhydride in the presence of a Karstedt catalyst to give a polyfunctional POS. |
