PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image for reducing an artifact by a body movement by measuring a navigation echo with every excitation of magnetization, extracting information related to displacement of an object from a comparing result of this echo signal and a reference echo signal, and deciding phase encoding quantity to be set in the next place. SOLUTION: A high-frequency generated by a synthesizer 411 is supplied to a high-frequency coil 414a via a modulator 412 to generate a high-frequency magnetic field in an examinee 401 to excite a nuclear spin. A nuclear magnetic resonance signal radiated from the examinee 401 is received by a high-frequency coil 414b so that a received signal is inputted to a computer 408 via a wave detector 416. Here, image data is measured in a prescribed repetitive time TR to determine a navigation echo to be reconstituted to obtain a projected image. Displacement is calculated from a comparison between this projected image and a reference navigation echo projected image 26, and phase encoding quantity allocated in response to this displacement is set in the TR of the same position to measure an image signal.
