PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet jointed fishing rod good in appearance and smooth to bending conditions of the rod. SOLUTION: This faucet jointed fishing rod is obtained by winding a cloth prepreg prepared by impregnating woven reinforcing fibers with a thermosetting resin around the outer periphery of a jointing rod 3 or forming a fiber-reinforced resin layer obtained by impregnating a reinforcing fiber bundle with the thermosetting resin and braiding the resultant yarn prepreg into a cylindrical form on the lateral face of the jointing rod 3 or forming hole parts having a prescribed diameter and a prescribed depth in the axial direction of the jointing rod 3 at both ends of the jointing rod 3 in the faucet jointing fishing rod for connecting a large-diameter rod tube 2 through the jointing rod 3 to a small- diameter rod tube 1.
