PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled apparatus for washing a marine construction having excellent washing and cleaning performance, traveling stability, or the like. SOLUTION: Sea water mixed with sea sand is supplied to a cleaning nozzle 8 and blasted against a marine construction to clean the construction. Since the sea water contains sea sand, the cleaning performance of the apparatus is extremely high. The apparatus body 1 of the apparatus is provided with hollow wheels 2 at both sides. Buoyancy is attained by the use of the hollow wheels 2. The wheel 2 is provided with a plug 14 as a water-pouring and discharging part. The apparatus is balanced in lateral and longitudinal directions by pouring proper amount of sea water into the wheels 2 through the plug 14 to keep the gravity center G at the optimum position. The above structure ensures the straight motion of the apparatus to stabilize the traveling performance and facilitates the change of the moving direction by remote control.
