PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect the degree of the condition of an ill-drained paddy field, on the field on which a reaping and threshing operation is carried out by driving a combine harvester, to improve the operation efficiency by an operator. SOLUTION: A rotation-detecting means 9 for detecting the number of the rotation of a traveling device 1 is installed in a traveling power-transmitting device 8 for driving the traveling device 1, and a receiver 10 capable of receiving a radio wave from a GPS satellite 12 is installed in an arbitrary position in a combine harvester. The number of the rotation of the traveling device 1 by the rotation-detecting means 9, and the traveling distance measured by the radio wave from the GPS satellite 12 are compared, and the condition of the ill drained paddy field is detected from the slip condition.
