PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make supportable a baggage at the part of the handle of an umbrella at the time when the umbrella is folded and its ferrule is directed downward. SOLUTION: A baggage supporter 3 capable of supporting baggage 15 when the ferrule 5 of an umbrella is directed downward is arranged at the part of the handle 2 of the umbrella. In particular, the supporter 3 is constituted of a hanger hook 3 which can be housed in the part of the handle 2. Otherwise, a closed loop forming body forming the supporter 3 of a strap, a chain, a ribbon, etc., is fixed to the part of the handle.
