PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert for trim and a trim easy in forming and capable of assuring a high strength. SOLUTION: A plurality of frame pieces 21 of an insert 15 are connected to each other through a first connection part 23 at one end in longitudinal direction and through a temporary fixing part 24 having a hole 26 for separation and a second connection part 25 at the other end. The temporary fixing part 24 and second connection part 25 are arranged alternately with each other through the frame pieces 21. In a separation process after extruded molding, the portions of the temporary fixing part 24 corresponding to the holes 26 for separation are made brittle and separated from each other. Thus the other ends of the frame pieces 21 of the insert 15 can be separated in a rubber every two frame pieces.
