PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a coating film having a multicolor pattern having >=2 kinds of dots by spray coating a surface to be coated with plural color coating materials each having different color, glossiness, smoothness or the like through plural spray nozzles. SOLUTION: The multicolor pattern composed of >=2 kinds of dots is formed by applying >=2 kinds of coating materials selected from a high gloss solid color coating material, a low gloss solid color coating material, a high photoluminescent metallic coating material, a low photolinescent coating material and a coarse aggregate-containing coating material on the surface to be coated.
