PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound having excellent suppressing actions on the macrophage activity and useful as an antiinflammatory agent, an anti- autoimmune disease agent or an antiseptic agent. SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I [R1 and R3 are each a (substituted)1-20C alkanoyl, a (substituted)3-20C alkenoyl or the like; R2 and R4 are each a (substituted)1-20C alkyl, a (substituted)2-20C alkenyl or the like; R5 is H, a halogen, OH or the like], e.g. 2,6-anhydro -7-O - 2 -acetamido-2-deoxy-3 -O -[(R)-3 -dodecyloxytetradecyl]-4 -O-phosphono -β-D- glucopyranosyl)}-3 -[(R)-3 -hydroxytetradecanamido]-4 -O-[(R) -3- hydroxytetradecyl]-3 -deoxy -D-glycero -D-ido -heptonic acid. For example, the compound represented by formula I can be produced by a method, etc., using, e.g. a compound represented by formula II (R6 and R7 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like) and a compound represented by formula III as starting raw materials.
