PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a driver interface system that quickly updates operating state information of a driver and realizes cost reduction of the system. SOLUTION: In this interface system, a plurality of drivers 4 are connected to a local station 6 and data sent/received between a main station 1 and the local station 6 by using an optical transmission line 9. The local station 6 transmits control information sent from the main station 1 to all the drivers 4 connected to itself. Furthermore, the local station 6 individually stores operating state information of the drivers 4 connected to itself and transfers the operating state information obtained from all the drivers 4 to the main station 1 at once.
