<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input a character, a graphic or the like of a desired size at a desired position by equipping a transparent input plate for coordinates setting with its screen visibly arranged on a display part and a pair of stoppers which are rotation operated on both sides the transparent input plate faces and clamps both sidewalls corresponding to a casing of equipment. SOLUTION: A signal reception part 13 is fitted to an upper part of a transparent input plate 11 along a width direction of an input plate 11. The signal reception part 13 has three echo sounder receivers arranged in a center and on both sides, and the echo sounder receivers receive a ultrasonic wave signal outputted from an input pen and supplies coordinates data to a personal computer. The personal computer has a recognition part for recognizing coordinates of a pressure (input) position of the input pen on the basis of the inputted coordinate data, controls a display control part by a recognition result of the recognition part and displays data of a character manually inputted on a screen of a display part 3. A data input device is further equipped with a pair of stoppers 14 fitted on both upper sides of the transparent input plate 11.</p> |
