HAND SHAKE IMAGE CORRECTING METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM, AND IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct irregular camera shake including rotation and parallel movement with high precision as to a picture taken by a digital camera, etc. SOLUTION: A coordinate transformation matrix representing the rotation and parallel movement of pixels due to a hand shake is determined (101) and used to estimate a hand shake vector at each pixel position in the picture (102). For each pixel value, a blur due to hand shake is corrected through interpolating operation, based upon the hand shake vector at the position (103).
