PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal floor post easy in height adjustment firm and excellent in maintenanceability in low floor construction. SOLUTION: This metal floor post is provided with a base part 1 having a stood thread rod 2, a post member 7 screwed on the thread rod 2 of the base part 1, and an L-shaped plate 4 for supporting a floor member attached on an upper end part of the post member 7. The post member 7 is rotatably attached on the L-shaped plate 4, a screw part 24 is formed on an upper part of the post member 7, a fixing nut 25 for fixing the L-shaped plate 4 is screwed on the screw part 24, and thereby facilitating height adjustment and improving firmness and maintenanceability in low floor construction.
