PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register metadata in binary data without affecting an existing application by connecting metadata which is read in a second reading process after binary data which is read in a first reading process and outputting whose obtained data as one file. SOLUTION: A first reading process for reading binary data being the bestowal object of metadata, a second reading processing for reading metadata which is to be bestowed to binary data, a connection process for connecting metadata which is read in the second reading process after binary data which is read in the first reading process and an output process for outputting whole data obtained by the connection process as one file are provided. In the device, a reading part 100 reads a picture by using a scanner device or the like. An accumulation part 102 accumulates binary data and metadata. A display part 103 displays accumulated binary data and read metadata and displays picture data which is read. A CPU 104 is associated with all of respective processings.
