PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform charging/discharging of a battery stored in a tray so a to efficiently perform inspection. SOLUTION: This battery charging/discharging inspection device is provided with tray bases 14a, 14b arranged in several levels in the machine frame vertical direction for floatingly supporting a tray 12 storing a battery via an energizing means 32, upper bases 16a, 16b supported raisably to the machine frame above the respective tray bases and provided with a pressing contact part 30a pressing and supporting a battery inside the tray supported by the tray base from the upper side, lower bases 26a, 26b fixedly supported to the machine frame below the respective tray bases and provided with a pressing contact part 30b pressingly abutting to the battery inside the tray supported by the tray base from the lower side, and elevating mechanisms 20a, 22, 16 driving the upper base upward/ downward between an opening position, in which the tray is replaced and set in the tray base, and a closing position, in which the battery inside the tray is pressed from the upper side so as to be supported by lowering the upper base, and subsequently, the upper base and the tray base are lowered with the battery pressed by the pressing contact part while the pressing contact part of the lower base presses the battery inside the tray from the lower side.
