PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a car height and the center of gravity and enable an engine room to be compact by mounting an engine to a front midship. SOLUTION: In this structure, a damper unit comprising a damper 10 and a coil spring fit together in the outside of the damper 10 is arranged approximately in a truncated chevron so as to narrow a vehicle front viewing from a vehicle upper surface toward the vehicle front from the side of a engine 1 in which a front wheel W is disposed, and the axial center of the front wheel W is disposed at the rear from the front end of the engine 1. This constitution ensures the arrangement space of various kinds of engine auxiliary equipment such as a radiator 5 arranged in the front part of the engine room and piping thereof, and a compact engine room due to shortening a front overhang if the engine 1 is equipped to a front midship.
