PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix the actuator body to a bottom plate and a head plate without relying upon adhesion by an arrangement wherein the faces of the bottom plate and the head plate abutting against the end face of the actuator body are provided, respectively, with a member for securing the coating layer of the actuator body through force coupling. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric actuator body 10 comprises a multiplayer laminate, and a metallic or conductive layer being used as an electrode wherein the end face of the layer is fixed between a bottom plate 11 and a head plate 12. The end face abutting against the bottom face 11 and the end face abutting against the head face 12 are provided, respectively, with a piezoelectric inert coating layer 13, 14. Furthermore, the abutting faces of the bottom plate 11 and the head plate 12 grasp securing members 16, 17 to surround the coating layers 13, 14 and the securing members 16, 17 secure the coating layers 13, 14 of the actuator body 10 through force coupling. |
