PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate removal of an internal component and to upgrade assembling operability by providing a rotation inhibiting means for allowing a chuck to slide in an axial direction but inhibiting rotation of the chuck, and eliminating damage of a lead due to twisting and inhibiting to drop the component when a tip implement is removed. SOLUTION: The internal mechanism of a double chuck type mechanical pencil comprises a lead tank for containing writing leads, a rear chuck 5 fixed to a front end of the tank, a chuck ring 6 loosely engaged with the chuck 5, a cylinder 7 provided on an outer periphery of the front portion of the tank through a rear elastic element 8 for urging the tank 4 rearward therein, a joint 9 provided in the means 7 and formed with a locking part 9e brought into contact with and locked to the cylinder 7 and the ring 6 at its inner periphery, and a front chuck 11 fixed to the front end of the joint 9 by unitizing. |
