PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax centralization of the strain of a pavement material, occurring occasioned by perspective operation between bridges, to a local part and to maintain soundness of an expandable joint with higher degree. SOLUTION: A gap location material located in an expansion gap part 4 between a pair of bridges 2 is arranged with a gap 9 provided therebetween. A location material body 1A is provided in a state to span between the two bridges 2 positioned opposite to each other at the expansion gap 4. The location material body 1A has a deformation block function to block substantial deformation due to an external force exerted along the direction of the depth of the expansion gap 4, an expansion function being uniform as a whole or uniformly expandable along the perspective directions of the two bridges 2 at the expansion gap 4, and an elastic restoration function to exert an elastic restoration force on perspective operation of the two bridges 2 at the expansion gap part 4. |
