A gas turbine system consists of a semi-closed cycle comprising: a compressor (1) connected to the atmosphere and driving a mixer-ejector (2, 4); a mixer-ejector (4) receiving the compressor air and driving recirculated hot gas to a combustor (8); a combustor (8); a turbine (5) expanding a part of the hot gas from the combustor (8) and recirculating it to the mixer-ejector (3, 4); a further turbine (6) expanding the rest of the hot gas into the atmosphere. Alternatively, the system consists of a closed cycle comprising: a gas cooler (9); a compressor (1) connected to the gas cooler (9) and driving a mixer-ejector (2, 4); a mixer-ejector (4) receiving the compressor air and driving recirculated hot gas to a gas heater (8); a gas heater (8); a turbine (5) expanding a part of the hot gas from the gas heater (8) and recirculating it to the mixer-ejecter (3, 4); a further turbine (6) expanding the rest of the hot gas into the gas cooler (9). |
