A novel method for measuring the endocrine disrupting activity of an environmental chemical. Namely, a method for measuring the endocrine disrupting activity of a chemical characterized by measuring the activity of the test chemical with the use as an indication of an effect of promoting a reaction of converting male hormone into female hormone induced under ultraviolet-irradiation; a method for screening a substance having an endocrine disrupting activity by using the above method; and a measurement apparatus to be used in the above method. |
