The invention relates to a substantially or partially hydrosoluble composition in the form of solid particles exhibiting an absorption capacity of up to 50 % and which can be obtained from at least one crystallizing mineral salt with at least one molecule and at least one organic polymer binder whereby the content thereof is less than 30 % of the weight of the composition, and drying is carried out whereby at least part of the water of crystallization is eliminated. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said composition, consisting of the following: as a result of a drying step, it is possible to fully or partially eliminate at least the water of crystallization present in the mixture comprising the above-mentioned mineral salt, the binder and the water which also exists partially in the form of the water of crystallization. The invention further relates to a formulation comprising an active substance that is absorbed on the above-mentioned composition and a method for producing said formulation by atomization or impregnation of the active substance.
