PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect various kinds of equipment to the connector of a main body side and use a game machine for many purposes by making it possible to discriminate the kind of connected equipment on the main body side. SOLUTION: This game device has the connector 1 including a terminal UP, etc., from a 4-way switch SD for receiving a signal from the connection device 12 and a terminal TH for supplying a select signal to the connection device 12. When the game device supplies the select signal to the connection device 12 through the terminal TH, a combination of potentials from the 4-way switch SD which are detected at terminals is used as discrimination data to discriminate the kind of the connection device 12 connected to the connector 11. |
