The present invention relates to methods and systems for protecting a user working on a computer, wherein said system can be used as a hardware or software means for ensuring the safety of a user working on a computer. The safety of a user working on a computer is achieved by controlling and modifying the computer operation mode while accounting for personal data about the user, his physical condition, his age, the time spent working on the computer as well as other data. To this end, the system for safely using a computer comprises data input and output devices, a data processing unit, a memory, a display as well as sensors for detecting the user's condition. The data processing unit includes a user identification device which is connected to the data input device, to the memory as well as to a display-parameter checking and defining device which is in turn connected to a device for checking and defining the computer operation modes. The system further includes a device for selecting and defining the user's activity and rest mode, wherein said device is connected to the memory which is in turn connected to the data output device and to a device for carrying out tests. The system finally includes a date-stamping memory. |
