<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a cost and properly arrange a pipe by corrugating the end part alone of a flexible tube in an insertion part, bringing the corrugated part into tight contact with the inside/outside diameter of a mounting metal fitting, and fixing the flexible tube end part and the mounting metal fitting tight contact part circumferential edge together. SOLUTION: In one end part 2 of a flexible tube 1 used for a sprinkler unwinding tube, an abutting step part 10 is formed in a fitting outside diameter 6 of a socket part 4. The one end part 2 of the flexible tube 1 is firmly fixed by means of a split type fixing apparatus 21 into a single valley part or into a plurality of valley parts from one end of the flexible tube 1 so that the fitting outside diameter 5 of the socket part 4 is fitted in the inside diameter of the one end part 2 in the flexible tube 1. The socket part 4 is pressed by means of a pressing machine 22 from the outside, and in the one end part 2 of the flexible tube 1, a crest pitch is narrowed (corrugated), so that the inside diameter of the one end part 2 in the flexible tube 1 is reduced, and consequently, the inside diameter of the one end part 2 and the fitting outside diameter 5 are brought into tighter contact with each other.</p> |
