摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the performance of a photochemically sensitized solar battery by using photochemically sensitized optical semiconductor electrodes having a high photoelectric conversion efficiency to be obtained by attaching sensitizing coloring matters. SOLUTION: A titania substrate with sensitizing coloring matters obtained by immersing a titania substrate in an ethanol solution, performing heating and attaching coloring matters is used as one electrode, and a glass substrate fitted with a transparent electrode and coated with platinum is used as an opposite electrode. At four end parts between the electrodes, teflon sheets are interposed as spacers, and the periphery is sealed with an epoxy adhesive agent except for two spots to be inlets as they are. After this is put in a pressure tight container and the container is evacuated, the gas is replaced with an argon gas, and an electrolytic solution is injected from the inlets in an argon gas atmosphere. Then, the inlets are sealed with an epoxy adhesive agent. After this, leads are fitted to the electrodes to manufacture a solar cell. Accordingly, a photochemically sensitized solar battery using an optical semiconductor electrode is excellent in conversion efficiency, etc., compared to one heretofore in use, and an efficient photochemically sensitized solar battery can be formed.</p>
