SOLUTION: An automatic running controller sets the setting error Dn of the map data of the junction N of an access road branched from the through traffic of the running road of its own vehicle with the through traffic (S110) and the measurement error De of the present location of its own vehicle (S1200) and continuously measures the distance Dd from the present location to the junction N (S1300). When the present location of its own vehicle is within the distance which is equal to the sum (Dn+De) of the errors Dn and De from the junction N ('Yes' in both S1440 and S1600), the controller controls the upper limit value of target acceleration to zero (S1700). When the present location exceeds the distance (Dn+De) from the junction N ('No' in S1400 or S1600), the controller cancels the control on the upper limit value of the target acceleration.
