SUBSTANCE: the method consists in emission of radiation directed into the soil and detection of signal on the solid-liquid boundary with the aid of a transceiver. The soil density is judged by the value of signal amplitude depending on the radiation angle relative to the horizon of the soil surface. The preset radiation angle is fixed, at which the maximum of the reflected signal is detected. The transceiver with an antenna is installed on a vehicle continuously moving on the examined route. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement of soil density.
