PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image irregularities at a transfer part and also to prevent the occurrence of a curling habit of a belt-like intermediate transfer body and the deterioration of an image carrier by forming a transfer nip with respect to the image carrier by pressing an intermediate transfer body from the back side by a pressing member disposed in the rotating direction of the intermediate transfer body and on the upstream side from the transfer part. SOLUTION: A plate-like pressing elastic plate PV1 which is a pressing member to prevent the image irregularities and in which an insulation rubber member having elasticity such as urethane rubber is used is disposed on the upstream side of the transfer part T and at the lower part (inside) of an intermediate transfer belt 14a to the rotating direction of the intermediate transfer belt 14a. The transfer nip TN with a photoreceptive drum 10 is formed by pressing the intermediate transfer belt 14a from the back side by the pressing elastic plate PV1. Then, a lever LV1 is attached to a holder HD1 integrally with the holder HD1, and the lever LV1 is provided to be rotatable centering a supporting shaft J1, and the intermediate transfer belt 14a is pressed to the photoreceptive drum 10 by the pressing elastic plate PV1 by a spring SP1 pressing the holder HD1. |
