PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic program guide information service system for a digital integrated CATV system where a load by EPG information service onto an analog head end of each area is relieved without causing confusion to viewers. SOLUTION: The CATV system is provided with a plurality of analog head ends 1A, 1B, 1C that distribute a video signal of analog programs and a video signal of transmitted digital programs to terminals in each area and with a digital head end 10 that transmits the video signal of the digital programs collectively to the analog head ends 1A, 1B, 1C. This digital head end 10 transmits electronic program guide information of the digital programs and electronic program guide information of the analog programs distributed by a plurality of the analog head ends 1A, 1B, 1C in each area to the analog head ends 1A, 1B, 1C.
