PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a marbling pattern while leaving one part of an original picture in an original state by a device which prepares a marbling pattern by stirring a picture. SOLUTION: A non-stirring region, interpolation region, and normal stirring region on an original picture being a picture to be stirred are designated by a parameter inputting means 1. Moving amounts are calculated by a picture moving amount calculating means 6 based on a scalar field generated by a scalar field generating means 3, and the moving amounts corresponding to the non-stirring region among the calculated moving amounts are averaged by a fixed moving amount calculating means 7. Then, the moving amounts of the interpolation region are calculated by interpolating the moving amounts of the non-stirring region and the moving amounts of the normal stirring region by a moving amount changing means 8. The picture to be stirred is stirred by a picture data calculating means 9 according to the calculated moving amounts so that a stirred picture can be prepared. This stirring processing is repeated as necessary so that a picture having a desired marbling pattern can be obtained. |
